From PICTS Mobile was created to administer the Psychological Inventory of Criminal Thinking Styles (PICTS) from any location, online or offline from any iOS device, and is an alternative to the paper version that requires manual collection and data entry into other systems.
Highly usable, without compromise.
There are just five steps to complete the 80-question survey. Clients using it range from having severe disabilities to being super villains, so we had to make it secure, and highly usable.
An Officer chooses a client, puts the device in "Guided Access Mode" (an iOS feature designed for children that locks the app until a passcode is entered), then hands the device to the Client who chooses their language and proceeds to answer the questionnaire. When the Client is finished, they hand the device back to the Officer and the data is later synced with the enterprise app. This process also improves Officer safety by keeping their hands free while a Client is taking the assessment.
Product Website Launched
Creating a product website to promote the new PICTS Mobile app was a no-brainer. I grabbed an open-source single-page responsive theme and filled it with some great product content including app store info, FAQ's, support docs, demo video, and a wonderful testimonial video recorded by a member of our working group.
