When Battlefield Park Polo Club asked for help scaling up their summer camp business in 2016, none of us expected the results in 2017 - a remarkable 353% increase in attendance over the previous year. This all worked because I developed a strategy to create a new brand identity, a new mobile-friendly website, easy to use camp registration and account administration, targeted MailChimp email marketing campaigns, seasonal Groupon discount programs, and improved utilization of Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Over the course of a year, we spent time promoting the new website, developed an adorable video short, established a consistent Instagram and Facebook posting routine, and made the online camp registration and payment process solid, secure, and easy to use. An additional horse stable was built and new guest rooms were established to accommodate program growth. Camp was ready.

I spent a day at horse riding camp with a GoPro and let the kids tell the story.

Then... An incredible thing happened... Those same kids (4 out of 5 on the team) who bought our summer camp Groupons way back in 2016 as little kids and learned to play Polo... grew up to be National Champions the summer of 2025.

My efforts for this were pro-bono and done for the love of the horse-riding program and coach/owner Dori Burner. My son grew up riding horses here and we cherished every moment!
