Goals

One complete application for desktop and mobile that allows tailored workflows for real ground-level processes. Immediate, real-time, unassisted completion of a PICTS assessment.

Background

Amanda is a U.S. Probation Officer with previous experience supervising clients with the Georgia Department of Corrections. Her caseload is comprised of low-med risk level clients in a depressed area of florida with high rates of drug and alcohol abuse.

Frustrations

Working mostly remote and conducting casework over remote desktop from an iPad is tedious. Not having all the necessary data available in PACTS in a timely manner is a pain point. Often has to call in to the office for support locating documents and information.

Motivations

Having to provide less assistance to clients on the PICTS assessment questions. Self-service tools that allow low risk offenders to manage parts of their caseplan.

Challenges

Wants to be as hands-free as possible with tools that are easy to use. Wants to feel as safe as possible in the field and wants minimal distraction from observing client behavior in their own environments. Works alone without a partner and won't use technology that physically gets in the way.
